2008 BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS SERVICE
Father Larry Pitcher led this year's non-denominational service at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kentville. This annual celebration of our animal friends was attended by dogs, cats and a rabbit. The service was greatly enhanced by the gift of music and singing provided by Ann Harris, Andrea Sweeny and Shirley Sampson as well as the joyful voices of the congregation of animal lovers from all parts of our community.
