SPCA offers Obedience Classes where we teach responsible canine
ownership through training in a fun environment.
PUPPY SOCIALIZATION
CLASSES teach puppies between 3-5 months of age how to interact
with other puppies and people of all ages. Owners will learn how
to take care of their puppy properly from lessons on nail clipping,
grooming etc. Common behavior problems will be addressed (nipping,
chewing, jumping up etc.)
Fall Puppy
Socialization classes begin on Thursday September 4th, 2008
FAMILY PET
OBEDIENCE CLASSES train you to teach your dog basic obedience
commands using positive training methods. Learn how to stop chewing,
nipping, jumping up and barking. Your pet will learn how to behave
properly with other dogs.
Fall Family Pet Obedience
classes begin on Thursday September 4th, 2008
RALLY OBEDIENCE
is a new sport where you can have fun with your dog while continuing
obedience training. Beginner class is for dogs that have completed
a basic obedience course. Advanced class is for those who have completed
the Beginner Rally class and want to continue obedience training
or for teams that are preparing for Rally O competitions. Rally
encourages participation of ALL dogs, purebred or mixed breed, pets
or titled champions as well as physically challenged dogs and or
handlers.
